Wie funktioniert es? At BIWA we encourage friendship, support, and cultural exchange between our international and Korean members by organizing a wide variety of social and cultural activities.

As a non-profit organization we raise money to help those in the local Korean community who are in need.

We have a number of regular activities like:

* Monthly coffee morning at the HarborTown Starbucks in Haeundae Beach

* Monthly BIWA luncheon

* Learn a new language

* Dancing classes

* Fitness fun

* Cultural exchange event

* Tour a local site

* Go on a hike

* Mums & Tots play group

Wie funktioniert die Gruppe weitermachen? BIWA membership has been increasing....

BIWA is 45 years old and has enough maturity to feel confident and even solid. This is a beautiful yet quite risky age. It is very easy to loose balance and become a matron instead of a wise and sophisticated lady.

Depending on what it would prefer and choose, BIWA might follow both ways and it is up to us to decide what we want to be: a stagnant conservative club looking for no more progress or a dynamic developing group which is brave enough to broaden new horizons?

Now I have a sense that, in fact, BIWA is not getting older but it is getting younger and younger every year and this gives me a belief that BIWA still has chance for flourishing and an even bigger future.

What we only need for that now is our willingness not to stick to one place but to develop further. We owe this to BIWA in respect of its long history and traditions.
