The aim of the edn-in-jpn forum is to empower parents and educators in Japan, to provide a networking place for the exchange of ideas and resources that will raise the quality of education and life for our children.
To join, you MUST send an introduction describing yourself or family and your educational concerns that will be forwarded to the group. This is strict REQUIREMENT that serves as a minimum protection for our family-oriented online community. After posting your introduction and upon being subscribed, you will be able to go online to read the introductions and messages posted by the other list members.

Warum ist es gut für Familien?

Educating your child is a difficult enough task for anyone but non-Japanese living in Japan will have additional stresses, challenges and issues. Whether we homeschool in English or send our kids to intl schools or send our kids to pick up Japanese in local public schools and try to squeeze in homeschooling after school, we need ideas, resources and support for our individual homeschooling journeys. This forum enables us to pool our ideas, experiences, resources and knowledge of Japan.
