|How many?||We work with over 400 families.|
|When did it start?||The group was established in 2002 to give help and support to Somali speakers and particularly Mai-Mai speakers who have fled the ongoing Civil War in Somalia and inclusively all other communities.|

Vision and Value of The Arlaadi Somali Community in Luton is to serve and help people in the community who are in need of help in a variety of ways.
Arlaadi Somali Community provides a range of activities to support the integration of refugees and aslyum seekers and those of new British citizens to the host British Community.
1) Drop in advice clinic for signposting, translation, interpreting, immigration signposting, housing, job seeking, welfare rights, health care issues, and education.
2) Supplementary youth activities - football and swimming.
3) After school activities
4) Weekly women’s drop in.
5) Cultural activities.
6) Children's once a week meal scheme.

We give opportunities to volunteers to improve their employment skills.
We provide support and training for volunteers, and adhere to relevant quality assurance standards.
