Our Aims:
1. To provide pre-natal and post-natal support 2. To provide support and advice to the parents of babies and young children 3. To provide information relating to childbirth and childcare 4. To develop and promote educational programs designed to assist in establishing high quality and flexible childcare 5. To encourage the setting of playgroups for young children 6. To sponsor activities beneficial to the members of BAMBI 7. To support charitable organizations in Thailand involved with the family or child welfare including the making of financial donations where appropriate | |||||||||||
| How does it work? |
BAMBI offers members a wide range of helpful services ranging from news & information, support, activities, resources and our popular classified ads.
Membership: Joining BAMBI is easy! You can sign up at any of our playgroups or come along to the New Members Coffee Morning. Annual membership fee per family is 800 baht. See website for more information. BAMBI Magazine: Members enjoy BAMBI News, our fantastic monthly magazine for mums and tots with articles about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting written by and for BAMBI members. Bumps & Babies: A support group for women who are pregnant, or have recently given birth and need breastfeeding support or general child health information. Playgroups: There are dozens of playgroups in Bangkok. Finding the right ones for you can be difficult, especially if you are new to the city. We provide details of some current playgroups both sponsored by BAMBI, and other playgroups offered to BAMBI members. Pre-schools: The number of international pre-schools and nurseries operating in Bangkok is constantly increasing. Our pre-schools listing includes more than 50 pre-schools in central Bangkok, Chaengwattana, Minburi and surrounding areas. BAMBI Buddies: Our BAMBI Buddies volunteers aim to make the settling-in process a bit easier for newcomers by sharing their local knowledge and experience of everyday life in Bangkok. Support Groups : There are many support groups in Bangkok providing a valuable resource to parents and families. Support is available in many areas including health, fertility, single parenthood, emotional wellness and bereavement. Classified Ads: BAMBI's popular classified ads are a great way for members to advertise for household staff wanted or available, and goods wanted or for sale. Library: BAMBI has a significant collection of books about pregnancy, childbirth, baby care and parenting. Rental Items: BAMBI has available for rent 3 regular travel cots (pack and plays) and 1 Evenflo carseat (weight - 5-20 pounds or 2.3-9 kg, Height - 19-26 inches or 48-66 cm), for use by BAMBI members and their guests. | |||||||||||

Our organization is run entirely by hard-working mums like yourself. We are always in need of a helping hand, whether it's a role on the committee or running one of the many BAMBI playgroups.
