How does it work? Halvsie.com hosts a forum where our members can introduce themselves to other half Japanese, some finding other halvsies in their cities for the very first time.

Many of our members have found kinship in their country were they once thought that they were rare. Informal groups have arisen in Tokyo, Los Angeles, London, and Helsinki and many a nomikai have been organized under the halvsie banner.

The Halvsie Wiki is our community project which collects as much information as possible about known, or well know half Japanese artists, musicians, athletes, and honestly, anything else that has to do with being half Japanese.

Because it is a community site, the contributions here are from the halvsie community. All the writing here is voluntary and the section as a whole is under a Creative Commons license, just like the real Wikipedia project.

How do you keep the group/program going? We have a website, twitter, Facebook page ( , and growing forum.
