Afin d'organiser le soutien approprié pour les enfants de langue française, la communauté francophone locale (Française, Belge, Suisse, Canadienne-francophone, Nord africaine, Mauricienne, etc..) s'est organisée et a créé, en juin 1998, l'Association Francophone du North Shore.
In order to organise the appropriate support for French speaking children, families with a French-speaking background (French, Belgian, Swiss, Canadian, North African, Mauritian, etc.) created the French speaking Association of the North Shore Inc., (F.A.N.S.) in June 1998. |
| How does it work? |
Le but de FANS est la promotion de la langue et la culture françaises parmi les familles de langue française située dans la région. Pour motiver les enfants à maintenir le français comme langue maternelle, FANS propose des formules différentes pour aider chaque famille à garder le français langue maternelle pour leurs enfants mais aussi pour eux-mêmes socialement!
* Pour les tout petits, de 0 à 5 ans, le playgroup francophone * Pour les enfants de 5 à 12 ans, l'école bilingue * Des classes de français pour adolescents et adultes. * Des activités pour petits et grands! Pourquoi faire participer votre enfant aux activités francophones ?
