西宮市国際交流協会(NIA)は西宮市民の国際感覚と国際理解を醸成し、海外諸都市の市民との相互理解を深める ため、国際交流の普及啓発、各種の交流事業を推進し、もってより世界に開かれた西宮市の創造と国際社会の発展に寄与することを目的として平成４年４月1日に設立されました。
NIA was established on Apr. 1, 1992, with the aim of contributing to the development of international communities, and so transforming Nishinomiya into an internationalized city. NIA strives to promote multiculturalism in Nishinomiya through exchange programs by citizen volunteers and as an intermediary between citizens, civilian organizations, and public administrations. NIA's Kid's Club was established in 1997. | |||||||||||

西宮市国際交流協会は次の事業を行います。
1. 国際交流の普及啓発及び国際交流に関する情報の収集提供 2. 海外諸都市と市民との友好交流 3. 地域の国際交流活動の支援 4. 国際交流に関する事業の受託 5. その他目的を達成するために必要な事業 NIA provides the following services. 1. Promoting international exchange and collecting and providing information about international exchange. 2. Friendship exchange activities with people in foreign countries. 3. Supporting local international exchange activities. 4. Entrusted project about international exchange. 5. Other necessary services including: * Free English translating and interpreting (e.g. making appointments, what you have received in the mail, dealing with schools) * Free Consulatation services about living in Nishinomiya. * Multilingual guide to living in the city. * Free Legal Counseling service * Kids Club - A playgroup for international families in the community. Meeting one morning every month, the kids enjoy games and crafts. It is a great opportunity for parents to meet and exchange information. * Japanese Language Course and Chat Squares. * Information Service for foreigners 希望する外国人に、「ふれあい通信」（日本語、英語、中国語、韓国・朝鮮語）、「市政ニュース・抜粋翻訳版」（英語、中国語、韓国・朝鮮語、ポルトガル語）、イベント情報を届けるなどの情報提供サービスを行っています。We have a service for foreigners that we mail them "Fureai Tsushin" (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean) and "Municipal Administration News, a translated extract"(English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese) on request.
