The Evergreen Outdoor Center has been instrumental in developing outdoor recreation activities, ecology tours, and mountain safety courses in the Nagano region. With programs that run year-round, we aim to incorporate a sense of respect and stewardship for our natural surroundings; as they are not only a great place to play in, but are home to a vast array of life including ourselves!
The mission of the Evergreen Outdoor Center is to allow for the growth and development of the human spirit through personal interaction with the natural environment, personal challenge and teamwork, and through always accommodating individual needs while maintaining a high standard of safety. * Winter Lessons & Tours in Hakuba: From daycare to children's ski lessons to powder clinics; beginners snowboard lessons to hitting kickers; snowshoe scenic walks to full-day back-country hikes and on-mountain guiding to avalanche skills training...if it involves snow, we do it. * Summer Tours in Hakuba: When the snow melts we can start sliding down canyons in Hakuba. There are endless mountain sports in the Hakuba Japan region: mountain bike tours, canoe, kayak, rafting, trekking, canyoning, climbing, and our summer camps for children have become very popular. If you represent a school, company, or large group, contact us, and we can make custom plans. We also offer Corporate Team Building Programs for companies and Women's Retreats run alongside our Summer Camps...we trust there is something for everyone here in Hakuba! | ||||||||||||
