We wanted to get access to more books without having to buy them, and also to meet other book/film lovers from our area. So my husband made the website - and it started!

Making a good website for exchanging books requires a lot of time - hence ours offers really only basic functions.

Please go to http://people-net.jpn.org/open.html to see the list of books available now. If you create an account and contact the admin, you will be also able to see who owns the book and by clicking on the name of the owner you may see his / her email address. Then you can simply find the books interesting for you and contact their owners to make an appointment with the person to get the book. Of course, it's also possible to arrange a delivery by post. But our purpose is to make more friends - so I would rather go for personal contact. This is also why we restrict it to Hanshin area only.
There is one trick: for a bit of security (of the books:), only people who know a person who is already a user of Hanshin Net can exchange books. So if you are interested but don't know yet any of us, please contact the admin and we will be happy to meet you!

It makes the access to non-JP books easier and cheaper. And you can watch the borrowed movies with your family :)
