| Quando foi criado? | We have been involved in outdoor education in Japan since 1977, organizing and running bicycle trips, ski adventures, camps, and other outdoor education activities for children and adults. | ||||||||||||
| Como começou? (por exemplo: que desafios tiveram? Quem os ajudou?) | Our first cycling trip was in the summer of 1977 as we explored the countryside surrounding the Inland Sea. We quickly found that cycling was a wonderful way to meet people and to learn about the life and culture of Japan. It also made the actual traveling so much more important than the destination. Yoshiko and I began bringing our students on bicycle trips in 1978. Our first trip was across the Chiba Peninsula to Kamogawa where we camped for two nights before cycling back to Tokyo. | ||||||||||||

We show you how easy it is to get out of the city for that "getaway weekend" you've been talking about. Bring your family or large group and stay at our lodge, Hakkakuso, use our Trek mountain bicyles, or hike, and discover the beauty that is the countryside of Japan. You have the option of also designing your own special programs for your group or ask us to help put activities together for you. Some of the programs and activities we have implemented include: *Marine science weekends *Outdoor education activities for children and adults of all ages *English language "camps" and school outings *"Writing workshops" for elementary students * Residential summer camps * Tennis weekends for goups of families * Sports training weekends for athletic groups (tennis, basketball, etc.) * One-day bicycle adventures around the local Minami Boso area * Longer bicycle trips to other areas in Japan (Noto Peninsula, Sado Island, Kyushu, Shikoku, etc.) | ||||||||||||
